Attached please find an initial report with my notes from the meeting
we had yesterday with Mr. John Perrecone, who kindly visited us from
Chicago to go through the EPA-CARE process with us. There seems to be
enough interest among people in the community to try the PACE-EH process
in the next year, followed with a possible level 1 funding from
EPA-CARE. Kathie, LeRoy and myself will try to form a community
coalition to which you and others whom you'd refer to us would be
invited to join. I am preparing to leave for my trip this summer, but
would like to see if any of you addressed or cc'd on this e-mail would be
willing to have an initial meeting to

1. Have a brief overview of PACE-EH

2. Help decide on the groups we might want to invite to join the
PACE-EH coalition.  

3. Decide on a day to start the process (it takes about one year
commitment of monthly meetings, but we can apply for EPA CARE funding
before finishing the process).

I am open for meeting Tues the 30th or Wed 31st 11AM- PM, Thursday any
time.

I'll be on leave starting Monday June 5th.

Please let me know if you'd like to and have any of these times open
for a meeting at the Health Dept, I'll try to find a room as soon
as I hear from you.
