Janine Sinno, LeRoy Harvey, and Bill Rieske met on May 11 to explore potential connections between MOCTH (www.re-news.net/mocth) and the City's Comprehensive Planning Process. Please forward your changes to leroy@leroyharvey.net.
We discussed the Regional Growth
Project and the local governments which have adopted the principles.See a
version of what was adopted on page 8 of
http://www.ingham.org/BC/BC/060509AGENDA.pdf and the final report at

Cluster Planning, as used in
Detroit, was discussed as a potential model for Lansing.
Broad citizen engagement is
desired as an outcome.
No particular approaches,
timeline, etc. have been firmly decided yet.
Artlington County and their "Glup"
or General Land Use Plan were mentioned as as another Master Planning Approach.
