Project NatureConnect
-from Beth Lively
"Learning how to reconnect our thinking with nature improves our psyche, lives and health as well as our ability to protect natural systems around and within us. It enables us to find new solutions for our disorders and increases our contribution to saner living."
"Over the years, I've spent a lot of time fighting.
Fighting against logging, pollution, nuclear power...as long as we fight all
the time there's going to be a winner and a loser...(we must) build bridges
across to the people who are fighting."

Living Systems in Evolution
The optimistic view this book radiates, that despite our errors and immaturities we can still become a healthy species within a healthy planet, is much needed in this age of doomsday predictions. Though time is growing short in our continued destruction of forests, atmospheres, and other critical Gaian systems, nothing would make me happier personally than to see Gaia theory useful in bringing about a better world for Gaia and her people. -James E. Lovelock
