Hunter Park Community GardenHouse Grand Opening

Allen Neighborhood Center, in partnership with the City of Lansing Parks and Recreation Department announces the Grand Opening of the Hunter Park Community GardenHouse on Saturday, May 10th, 2008. Festivities are from 12:00 noon to 4:00 pm at the greenhouse, located in Hunter Park on E. Kalamazoo, between Holmes and Clifford Streets. Activities include a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 12:30 pm with Mayor Virg Bernero, GardenHouse tours, live music, Tastin' Station, gardening workshops, perennial swap and plant give-aways, kids activities, and more. For further information, call Joan Nelson (999-3912) or K'Anna Burton (999-3910) at the Allen Neighborhood Center.
