The State Legislature is exploring new legislation that would lift the ban on yard "waste" from certain landfills equipped with methane capturing features. As someone who's been promoting composting and "alternative" energy for thirty years, I just can't "leave" this issue alone! Here are a few recyclable perspectives to chew on....
Jumpin' the Curb
"Can't recall your curbside recycling day? I have weekly curbside I usually remember as I'm rushing off to work and am reminded by my dutiful neighbors. At this point, I find myself with two choices: 1) return/recycle or, 2. wait another week or... two.. or.... This week, I continue on my way to work.
