Further thoughts on the 4 to 3 lane conversion
option for Hagadorn...
Because the City is planning a "temporary" striping option for Hagadorn
(before permanent striping in October), it might be wise to consider a
"pilot 3-lane conversion/striping" scenario during this phase of the project.
This could be a low cost way to test public
sentiment and feasibility for the changes.
It would seem more objectionable to go with 4-lane
temporary striping, then later to 3-lane if the Council/Commission approves
this option.
This approach fits well with other State's
approaches to "greening" their streets (Florida, etc.)
What do you think?
