Not that another traffic study wouldn't be useful (I'm sure it would), but
with the apparent successes and traffic studies/information available
already (average daily trips, review of Burcham, Gr. River, etc.), it seems
like there is more than enough evidence/data to justify a conversion.
With four-to-three lane conversions happening successfully on roads with
ADT's of 20-25,000 it just seems a very opportune time to consider the
potential reduction in accidents (potential deaths), increased walkability
and bikability, and potential improvements to traffic flow.
