I'm currently involved with promoting safe, affordable, healthy, and eco-friendly community improvements in the Capital Area (see:  www.CACVoices.org/mocth ).

Sometimes opportunities arise right in our back yard (or front yard) to make positive change.

It may be too late to act on this one, but I think we still have an opportunity to consider walkability/bikability/safety/traffic calming improvements on Hagadorn (which is currently being re-paved).

I'm curious what others might think about a 4 to 3-lane conversion of Hagadorn as one option.  This has happened successfully on Burcham and Grand River.  Pedestrians and bikers feel (and are) a lot safer.  These improvements have been featured in national publications like...

What do others think?

I'm going to call the City and try and find more info right now.

For those that are interested, let me know and I'll keep you posted.

Thanks for listening,
LeRoy
