Alternative Energy Symposium sponsored by SC4 last year, I am writing to you
today to let you know that SC4 is offering three new alternative energy
related seminars during the 2006 Winter semester in the M-TEC building located
on the SC4 campus in downtown Port Huron. They are as follows:
ZPEN-100-01 Towards
Our Solar Future, Step-by-Step
This seminar provides
information on conservation measures that are the first step before
renewable energy implementation.

Renewable Energy Options
This seminar provides
information on typical renewable energy installations including solar,
thermal, solar electric, and wind.

ZPEN-102-01 Ethanol:
An Alternative Energy for the Future
This one-day ethanol
workshop will explore the evolution and anticipated changes of the oil
industry and the opportunities that will
create for ethanol. This
session will be of particular interest to entrepreneurs, farmers and persons
interested in viable alternative
energy options that they
can implement now! Participating in the seminar will be Jody Pollock from the
Michigan Corn Growers
Association as well as
featured speakers in science and business.

Since the Alternative Energy Symposium, I have
really wanted to provide some additional topical sessions to the community
that are both affordable and informational. I think that these sessions do
