The open
discussion is a refreshing change to other classes
-
I don't
feel "stress" in this class, I feel like we are a team of students and
anything anybody contributes is an added bonus to the class, instead of a
competition to be the best or the first or feeling the need to have a
structure to adhere to (basically the other people who can't handle this
format of learning are being inflexible and could hinder the learning process
of the rest of us because the need more structure and direction)
-
The
sharing of websites are going to be very helpful for furthing learning after
this class (green websites).

Realized
that I can adapt to an unconventional classroom setting/class organization and
am looking forward to it.
-
Learning
from other classmates -- realizing that I'm in a group of very smart
individuals.
-
Lecture/presentations.
Challenges/Dislikes/Not sure I liked…
-
The lack
of structure to the class.
-
Not as
much order and routine as I am used to.
-
Writing
this.
-
Finding
mainstream topics for discussion.
-
Adjusting
to non-traditional classroom setting (round tables/open dialogue/no set
syllabus). This is testing/stretching my Type A tendenciesJ
I'll get over it.
-
Staying
up late for class. I'm and early person, not a night owl.
Suggestions
-
I'd like
a little more discipline and structure. Also, would it be possible to get
more technical… some chemistry, physics, etc. of the technology?
-
Finding
new sciences that have NOT become (widely used) technology.
-
Another
break in the mix.
